It all started when I was doing research for our newly published Spring 2025 Interior Design Trend and Tendencías Report. I found an image of a stunning white marble tile that had gold leaf dots incorporated into the design. My only issue when I was deciding which trend to categorize it into. It fit really well into both our Heavy Metal and Touchy Feely trends.

Lithos Design is an Italian marble brand that has several cool application and styles of carved and etched marble. Some of my favorite real life installations are shown below. Of course, I love the far left photo that mimics marble draperies. The second photo is a front lit bathroom design at Hotel Jungbrunn in Austria. Lithos also offers stunning backlit etched marble tiles as shown in the third photo from the left. Another one of my favorite applications is shown on the far right, their honeycomb patterned marble tiles with an integrated light.
