Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

🎨 Introducing Our New Artwork Feature: Guadalajara Collectors’ Corner

Over the past few years, I’ve shared plenty about furniture, design, and decor from Guadalajara—but one of the most inspiring parts of this city is its art scene. From bronze sculptures to bold contemporary paintings, Guadalajara is overflowing with talent that deserves a wider stage.

Starting today, I’ll be featuring selected works from local artists right here on the blog and in our Guadalajara Furniture & Decor group. Think of it as your weekly peek into the studios, galleries, and creative energy that makes this city so magnetic.

This week’s highlights include:

  • Hugo Bello – Cerámica (50 Ă— 32 Ă— 15 cm) – certified piece.

  • JosĂ© Fors – La Isla, aquatint/etching/sugar, 1999 – image 24.5 Ă— 30 cm on 42 Ă— 54 cm paper.

  • Alejandro Velasco Mancera – Analizando el viaje, bronze sculpture (34.5 Ă— 22 Ă— 16 cm), with certificate and presentation box.

  • Anonymous (signature illegible) – Toro con forma de corazĂłn, bronze lost-wax casting (30 Ă— 35 Ă— 15 cm).

  • Yenisett Torres – bronze lost-wax sculpture (30 Ă— 37 Ă— 14 cm), one-of-a-kind certified piece.

  • Waldo Saavedra – oil on canvas (80 Ă— 120 cm), certified.

Why This Matters

Furniture and interiors don’t live in a vacuum—they come alive when paired with art that sparks emotion and reflects culture. By sharing these works, I want to spotlight Guadalajara’s role as not just a hub of design and craftsmanship, but also as a city shaping the future of contemporary art.

✨ Whether you’re a collector, a homeowner furnishing a new space, or just someone who loves art with soul—this is for you.

👉 Stay tuned for weekly features, and let me know in the comments:
