The New Chapter at Forrest Glover Design

We’ve Changed

For nearly two decades, we’ve designed, fabricated, and installed custom draperies and window treatments across the U.S. and Mexico—from San Francisco townhouses to haciendas in the highlands of Jalisco. It’s been a beautiful journey of layered linens, fabric samples, and sunlit windows.

But over the past 2 to 5 years, something shifted.

Our clients—designers, expats, boutique property owners—began asking for more than window treatments. They needed help sourcing entire homes of furniture in Mexico. They wanted custom collections. They asked for guidance, introductions, and oversight. And we quietly stepped up to meet those needs.

It’s now clear: this is where our energy belongs. This is what our clients need the most.

So we’re officially wrapping up our drapery offerings (after completing currently scheduled projects) to focus entirely on the services that have become our true calling.

So What’s Next?

If you’re an interior designer, creative entrepreneur, or homeowner in Mexico or the U.S., this next chapter was built with you in mind.

Furniture Consulting & Custom Collection Development

Over the last five years, we’ve helped interior designers turn sketches into finished furniture—produced right here in Guadalajara. Our consulting services are rooted in experience, cultural fluency, and real relationships with the region’s top workrooms and workshops.

We help designers:

  • Navigate material sourcing and pricing

  • Translate design vision into durable, buildable products

  • Build trusted vendor relationships

  • Oversee quality control, sampling, and logistics

  • Develop small collections or full-scale custom lines

This isn’t a new offering—it’s something we’ve been doing successfully behind the scenes for years. Now, we’re opening the doors a little wider.

Private Furniture Tours in Mexico

We’ve spent the last four years guiding expats, designers, and boutique business owners through the maze of sourcing in Guadalajara, Tonalá, and Tlaquepaque. These aren't touristy shopping days—they’re curated, boots-on-the-ground experiences that connect you directly with Mexico’s finest artisans, furniture makers, and hidden-gem showrooms.

Our private sourcing tours are perfect for:

  • Interior designers seeking quality, made-to-order pieces

  • Expats furnishing full homes or vacation rentals

  • Shop owners and stylists looking for one-of-a-kind inventory

Every tour is tailored. Every stop is intentional. And every client leaves feeling inspired and empowered.

Why the Shift?

Because it’s already been happening.

These aren’t new services—we’ve just been offering them quietly, selectively, and almost always by referral. But now, we’re ready to give them the space they deserve.

This shift is about clarity. About aligning with what actually works—for us, for our clients, and for the way design is evolving across borders.

We’ll always be grateful for the drapery years—but we’re even more excited for what’s coming next.
