Just follow the Pata de Perro without fear or judgement and see where it leads you. I decided to meet a friend from Sonoma County, California in San Pancho, Mexico for a day or two this week. Honestly if the people I love make the effort to come to Mexico, I will make the effort to visit them if at all possible.
En pocas palabras, I found this amazing vacation rental in Chácala, Mx with be perfect blend of ambiance, architecture, and style at https://www.booking.com/hotel/mx/casa-liquen.es.html. I had never met Chácala before but had an amazing time for a couple of days. Even when the internet and all cell service failed the last day there, I loved my visit. Hotels like this have a way of connecting the different groups of visitors that are currently staying there. I met and became friendly with a group of four retired Canadians that were taking a weeklong vacation from their 5 month annual vacation were the live in Chapala, Jalisco near Guadalajara.
But in all honesty, I love when I see the present and future design trends that I fabricate in my head materialize in real life. Casa Liquen made me remember that I am nowhere near over the Clay Pink interior design trend and tendencia and just made me fall in love with this intimate hotel that is even closer to Guadalajara than San Pancho. Casa Liquen perfectly combined the home decor and hotel interior design trends of Clay Pink, Arches, and Rattan Furniture perfectly.
Something that also really impressed me about the overall interior design of Casa Liquen was their almost overuse of repeating design elements. They stuck to the arch interior design trend so intensely that it just worked. Sometimes too much is just enough in interior design. There was an ached niche behind an arch-shaped toilet next to the arched doorway across from the arched bathroom mirror. Speaking of the mirror, it was hung sideways. I really wish I had taken a photo of this detail. This was absolute genius interior design in my opinion. It was somewhat like the mirror from HEY BIRD Coffee by Tomshi & Associates shown below, but the space was much wider and the mirror was skinnier and oblong.
PRO TIP: The photo on the right side below is another simple but perfect representation of how to masterfully use repetition to make your interior design more cohesive.
Look how Emil Dervish uses color to accentuate the curves of the door frame and then repeats this circular nature by simply adding the umbrella holder, the mirror and even the spherical light fixtures. Basically all the elements that we see used identically in the example on the left as well. There might be talent involved, but design is easy if you use your eyes instead of your brain and learn a few basic tips. Update 29Jan2023
Most of the furniture that the hotel was furnished with are imports to Mexico and can be purchased from Tekapiel in Guadalajara. http://tekapiel.com/ English spoken. Don’t ask me how I know this. I just remember where all types of furniture can be found and purchased.

One amazing thing about much of the furniture is it is built for exterior use with plastic rattan.

Simplemente sigue la Pata de Perro sin miedo ni prejuicios y mira a dónde te lleva. Decidí encontrarme con un amigo del condado de Sonoma, California, en San Pancho, México, por un día o dos esta semana. Nunca había conocido Chácala antes, pero pasé un tiempo increíble durante un par de días. Aun cuando el último día falló el internet y todos los servicios de telefonía celular, me encantó mi visita. Los hoteles como este tienen una forma de conectar a los diferentes grupos de visitantes que se hospedan actualmente allí. Conocí y me hice amigo de un grupo de cuatro canadienses jubilados que estaban tomando una semana de vacaciones de sus 5 meses de vacaciones anuales donde viven en Chapala, Jalisco, cerca de Guadalajara.
Pero con toda honestidad, me encanta cuando veo las tendencias de diseño presentes y futuras que fabrico en mi cabeza materializarse en la vida real. Casa Liquen me hizo recordar que no estoy ni cerca de terminar con la tendencia de diseño de interiores Clay Pink y tendencia y simplemente me hizo enamorarme de este hotel íntimo que está incluso más cerca de Guadalajara que San Pancho. Casa Liquen combinó perfectamente las tendencias de decoración del hogar y diseño de interiores de hotel de Clay Pink, Arcos y Muebles de Ratan.
Algo que también me impresionó mucho del diseño de interiores de Casa Liquen fue su casi sobreuso de elementos de diseño repetitivos. Se apegaron tanto a la tendencia del diseño interior de arcos que simplemente funcionó. A veces, demasiado es justo lo suficiente en diseño de interiores. Había un nicho de arco detrás de un inodoro con forma de arco junto a la puerta arqueada frente al espejo del baño en forma de arco. Hablando del espejo, estaba colgado de lado. Realmente desearía haber tomado una foto de este detalle. Esto fue un diseño de interiores absolutamente genial en mi opinión. Era algo similar al espejo de HEY BIRD Coffee de Tomshi & Associates que se muestra a continuación, pero el espacio era mucho más amplio y el espejo era más delgado y oblongo.
CONSEJO PROFESIONAL: La foto en el lado derecho a continuación es otra representación simple pero perfecta de cómo usar la repetición magistralmente para hacer que tu diseño de interiores sea más cohesivo. Mira cómo Emil Dervish usa el color para acentuar las curvas del marco de la puerta y luego repite esta naturaleza circular simplemente agregando el portaparaguas, el espejo e incluso las lámparas esféricas. Básicamente, todos los elementos que vemos usados de manera idéntica en el ejemplo de la izquierda también. Puede haber talento involucrado, pero el diseño es fácil si usas tus ojos en lugar de tu cerebro y aprendes algunos consejos básicos. Actualización 29Ene2023

No me preguntes cómo sé esto. Solo recuerdo dónde se pueden encontrar y comprar todo tipo de muebles. Tekapiel está ubicado en Av Terranova 1226, Providencia 4ta Sección, 44639 Zapopan, Jal. Lo increíble de gran parte de los muebles es que están hechos para uso exterior con ratán de plástico.
